The Daily Market Briefs is a newsletter-first financial media company that covers financial news, trends and analysis. Our mission is to make finance and investing simple and accessible to everyone with content that’s brief, simple, and informative.

Job Description

We’re looking to hire our first brand ambassador to further the reach of our newsletter and drive subscriber activity. This individual will become a face for the newsletter that reaches 20k+ readers.

As part of the team, you’ll be joining us on our journey to 100K+ subscribers while expanding our coverage across the stock market, economy and personal finance topics.

This is a fully remote position with the opportunity and option to move into a full-time role. 

Our ideal candidate is someone with a general interest in macro and micro financial news, is highly social (in-person and online), and isn’t afraid to put their name and effort behind supporting subscriber growth for the newsletter.

Ultimately, we are looking for someone who can increase Daily Market Briefs brand awareness and generate new subscribers for the newsletter.

Responsibilities

• • Thoroughly understand our product and approach to finance and business news
  • Use various marketing techniques to drive awareness of Daily Market Briefs
  • Network and/or attend events where potential Daily Market Briefs subscribers can be added to the subscriber base
  • Track subscriber feedback and suggest positioning ideas
  • Assist in/contribute ideas in putting together various marketing campaigns

This is a part-time unpaid internship position with the opportunity to get promoted to a paid marketing position. You will be able to work on your own schedule.
